GSM Remote Power Control Switch and Alert System
This controller module will allow you to intelligently control power to your remote equipment. When any of the wireless remote sensor(s) detect movement or sound (dependant on the sensor type / or your idea), they will transmit a signal to the above GSM controller. The controller will then transmit a signal on either channel 1 or 2 (based on which input channel has been activated), to the remote equipment / receiver switch(es) in order to activate it / them for a pre-configured time / duration (depending on the configured settings & associated schedule). The controller will also send any configured recipients an SMS text message alert allowing them to know when a sensor and the corresponding equipment has been activated.
The GSM controller can be configured to react based on every day / all hours or on specific days between hours HH:MM and HH:MM and keep the remote equipment enabled for XX minutes. It can also be configured to enable the remote equipment every day or on specific days at HH:MM for XX minutes.
Our GSM Controller module has a range of flexible and
powerful features and include:
- Battery powered with deep sleep modes. - In-built scheduler utilizing a real-time clock based on days, hours and duration.
- Configurable active high / low inputs.
- 2x inputs / 2x outputs (inputs are paired with outputs i.e. input1 with output1 and input2 with output2).
- Configurable and intelligent deep sleep modes.
- All options remotely configurable via SMS.
- Up to 5x SMS recipients / users with caller ID command security.
- In-built Li-Ion charger with micro USB socket.
- Configurable low battery SMS alert level.
- "Hard" wired and / or wireless connectivity to devices - both sensors and devices of which you wish to remotely control
Battery powered transmitter modules / sensors upon being activated, will send a radio signal to the above GSM controller. The controller will then transmit a radio signal (based on it's configuration) to the remote equipment which has a receiver switch module fitted, in order to activate and power it up.
Sensor features:
- Waterproof (dependent on sensor type).
- Sound and or motion based
- Battery powered (mains compatible).
- Max 2x channels / inputs (7 wireless devices can be connected per channel allowing greater sensor coverage).
- Low profile module design.
Please note that we can also provide the actual transmitter modules separately allowing you to design your own bespoke sensor.
The receiver switch modules upon receiving a radio signal
from the GSM controller, will enable power to the remote equipment in order to
activate it when required (based on the GSM controllers configuration) .
Receiver switch features:
- Battery powered Outdoor / Indoor Cameras & DVR’s etc
- Battery powered IR Illuminators (non-visible light emitted)
- Battery powered Voice recorders & Audio Bugs etc
- Battery powered portable Wi-Fi Modules or similar data bearer devices (for remote Wi-Fi Cameras & listening devices etc)
- Max 2x channels / outputs (an unlimited number of wireless devices can be connected per channel allowing greater monitoring coverage and control). Each receiver allows up to 20VDC / 2A power switching
- Low profile module design
Please note that we can also provide the actual receiver modules separately allowing you to add it to your own equipment.
Why use our solution:
- Buy / use any other existing equipment or product - add unique and additional functionality
- Why have a device powered continuously from a battery - when you can have full control over how you want it to behave in order to save power
- Imagine having the ability to be in total control of your equipment and receive an alert message whenever your strategically placed sensor(s) detects activity and then your equipment automatically switches on - based on your configuration (remotely set via a text message / or App from your mobile phone)
- We can custom configure our equipment to be compatible with almost any device
- Change a permanently battery / mains powered device into a smart device that you can control
- Only use power / enable equipment when required
- Add unique functionality to low cost equipment
- Multiple wireless sensor / transmitter options
- Multiple wireless receiver / power control options
- Low standby power consumption
Optional battery powered wireless transmitter sensors (please see above options at top of this page to order):
- Waterproof / outdoor (or indoor) movement sensor
- Waterproof / outdoor (or indoor) smart dual movement sensor (eliminates false alarms caused by "quick cross-over" - temperature change detected by sun movement / shadow areas)
- Indoor sound detection sensor (includes an ambient manually controlled sound level adjustment - in order to set a threshold sound level which will help to eliminate false alarms / activation's)
- Covert (hidden) / outdoor waterproof home movement driveway lantern style lamp - which will transmit a wireless alarm signal to the main GSM module, but at the same time - will illuminate / shine light on the area where activity has been detected
- Overt / (visible / non hidden) outdoor waterproof home movement property lamp - which will transmit a wireless alarm signal to the main GSM module, but at the same time - will illuminate / shine light on the area where activity has been detected
- Overt / (visible / non hidden) outdoor waterproof home movement property lamp - which will transmit a wireless alarm signal to the main GSM module, but at the same time - will illuminate / shine an invisible light on the area where activity has been detected. Please note that the light from this lamp is non-visible to a humans eye's, however in order to use this type of special light with your existing camera solution, your camera may require modification. Therefore please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss
- Handheld / low-profile remote control (key-fob) - this device is manually controlled via the simple press of a button, in order to act as an alarm to the main GSM module
Optional battery powered wireless receiver modules (externally / remotely controlled devices) / (please see above options at top of this page to order):
- GPRS / 3G / 4G - WiFi mobile access point - this device can provide WiFi connectivity to any devices that requires internet access - as and when required, "based on sensor activation". And at all other times of no activity being detected - this device will remain asleep, thus saving battery power and only operating when its important
- Overt / (visible / non hidden) outdoor waterproof home property lamp - which will be remotely activated when it received a wireless signal from the main GSM module, but at the same time - will illuminate / shine light on the area where activity has been detected
- Overt / (visible / non hidden) outdoor waterproof home property lamp - which will be remotely activated when it received a wireless signal from the main GSM module, but at the same time - will illuminate / shine an invisible light on the area where activity has been
- Receiver switch OEM module - which will allow you to control the power to a device of your choice - please inquire prior to purchase for any required technical support and device compatibility advice
