Products within this range include a Sony Digital DAB Radio / Alarm clock which as an in-built 3rd generation GSM (3G) camera with battery back-up and SD card recording feature. If you dial the SIM card associated phone number, the 3G camera will automatically answer the incomming 3G video call allowing you to view live video footage of the target location. You can also send an SMS / text message to the unit to enable local audio video recording to it's internal SD card memory card. The card can be then removed and changed over for a blank in order to view the pre-recorded file(s) on a PC etc.
